Pre-Comiket Purchases
Quite a big haul from Kyoto today in the manga department:
Yokohama Kaidaishi Kikou Vol. 1
Ichigo Mashomaro Vol. 1
NieA_7 Vol. 2 (w00t)
Genshiken Vol. 3
and
Rule by Range Murata, which turned out to be a bit of a disappointment-- it's more pictures of merchandise than art (except for a short manga by him and ABe in the back starring the Pinky:St characters he designed).
By the way, Karl, if you're reading this, Pinky:Cos has been discontinued. But I'll keep my eyes open at Comiket.

No Pinky:Cos? Blast.
Well, one of the Range Murata Pinkys would be cool if a Pinky:Cos figure (eva or Gunslinger) can't be had for less than 15 bucks. Pity that line was dropped. What with Murata and aBE's involvement in it, a Haibane:Cos set would have been awesome. OTOH, I could check the web to see if anyone's got some Pinky:Cos.
Meanwhile, I hope the Ichigo Mashimaro vol.1 is for me (cause I want to be able to study Barasui's artstyle w/o a computer, and I want to support the artist since I'm not sure whether Tokyopop Germany's aquisition of Mashimaro means it'll be picked up the US division.) I also hope that the YKK vol.1 is for you, cause I've already got that (btw, the scans didn't do it justice at all.)
